On Sunday March 12th, 2017, the Pagume Ethiopians Entertainment Center honored Amb. Ahadu Sabure, Prof. Adugnaw Worku, and Elias Wondimu in recognition for their contributions to the Ethiopian community in Los Angeles and abroad. Elias Wondimu was awarded for the preservation and dissemination of knowledge (social and political history of Ethiopia—among other things) through providing a publishing service for Ethiopians whose work would not have seen a light otherwise.
